Like the little denim jacket, the denim skirt is a wardrobe staple that will never go out of style. It can be worn to work (well, some people's work), out at night, on the weekends, running around town, just about anywhere. Denim mini's (along with all miniskirts) are definitely in right now, but so are knee-length styles.

skirt is so costume-y, and I LOVE IT. For real. Who ever knew that felt — not silk, not satin — could be so super glam, what with its fantastical tiers, banded waist, and tonal topstitching?

According to a recent UK survey (and some snot-nosed college girls who ripped apart a poor 30-something at a bar I was at), it's a crime to wear a mini skirt past the age of 28. That means Madonna, Cheer, Selma Hayek (pre-preggers), Jennifer Garner, Eva Longoria and Hale Berry (she's 41!) just to name a few, shouldn't be allowed to wear minis, bikinis, tight jeans, tube tops or any other sort of "young people" clothes.

Uh, excuse me, but Hale is way hotter in her orange bikini than most 20-year-olds I've seen. And after all, isn't the real question not about how old you are, but whether or not you've got the body and demeanor to dress in such clothes? Take these two cases: Madge wore a purple Lycra leotard and heels while dancing around a London stage at 40+ and looked fabulous. Amy Wine house, tragically thin 24-year-old songstress, needs to put on some pants stat. I think the argument is pretty clear.

Hey, when telling a passenger her skirt is too short gets widespread attention, why not throw a national “MiniFares” sale in with your apology? Southwest Airlines has a good sense of humor, and luckily so did Kyle Ebert who modeled the outfit in question on the Today Show last week.

“The publicity caught us with our pants down, quite frankly. The story has such great legs, but we have an even better sense of humor, so we’re going to jump out there and lower our fares to match the mini skirts we’ve all been hearing so much about,” said Southwest’s CEO Gary Kelly.

The mini skirt has been part of most women's wardrobes since the 1960's, although the concept began in the 1920's. Flirty, fun, and feminine, this skirt has earned it's way into our closets, both as a fashion statement and a sign of liberation.

When you go shopping for a mini skirt, you need to first assess the cut of the skirt. There are very tight ones, made from spandex, that were popular in the 1980s. These are only suitable for those us of gifted with extremely toned and shapely buns and thighs. Another cut is the "A-line" which is a plain-edged, not particularly tight fitting cut that first became popular during the 1960's and 1970's during the so-called "Women's Liberation Movement". Happily, this style is suitable for most everyone, because the plain lines draw attention away from any leg imperfections.

Some may consider the A-line look too plain, so for this audience there is the ultra feminine silky mini skirt. This skirt has lots of layers of almost transparent silks and raffia's, both of which have a pixie fairy-like quality to them. The interesting thing about this style is that it originated in the 1920s, when flapper styles were all the rage. The skirt was not actually above the knee, but was designed in such a way that when the flapper girl walked or danced, her knee and lower thigh were exposed. As you may imagine, the style was very savant grade for those times. Fringes at the hem were often part of this flapper style mini skirt.

These short skirts make excellent companions to shoes, because you can combine them with any heel height. A mini skirt paired with heels always makes your legs look longer, leaner, and more toned. Boots, too, look great with the mini skirt. This look is classic mini skirt, going back to the 1970's, when go-go dancing was popular.

You may think that mini skirts are only suitable for summer. However, this is just not the case. As the weather gets cooler, you may still like one particular skirt that was a summer favorite. Not to worry! Instead of letting it go to waste, why not get a pair of leggings? With leggings, you can wear these skirts at any time of the year. Worn with a long coat, you can be both warm and pretty!

It's kind of a mini skirt gallery of sorts, when you are on the street. No word on just how comfortable these
are for mounting a large motorcycle. But my guess is, and it is only a guess, is that the main function is
more one of style and attraction than of utility. When the belt is nearly as big as the dress, then you truly
know that you have arrived at the right place. And they walk contentedly into the setting sun, before darkness
fall on the proceedings.

This is not the sort of skirt you would have gotten away with as a schoolgirl. OK so the pleated hem might have pleased your teacher but on the whole this is definitely a skirt on the wild side. Check out the plaited ‘belt’ and the big pockets for Chua Chops. And at a naughty 10” you’ll have to watch out for the boys when you’re wearing this. Girls rule!

Seven Network and V8 Super cars Australia today confirmed the signing of
a long-term partnership for broadcast television rights to the V8
Super car Championship Series.



Today's agreement sees Seven back in V8s - building on a rich history
and connection with the sport.



Seven's all-encompassing rights to V8s coverage will also see the
network return to Mount Panorama for coverage of the Super cheap Auto
Bathurst 1000 for the first time in a decade. Seven first broadcast the
Great Race 43 years ago and played a critical role in the iconic event's
rich history over more than three decades.

I went for a drive this afternoon I was driving for about 30min down port Wakefield road when I was stopped by a red light sitting there for a little over 30sec a Holden commodore pull's almond side me and started to do a burn out it went for around 40-45sec as tonight being a hot night I had my windows open so all of the smoke fill's my car (it was that bad I didn't see the light go green till the smoke had cleared). now I know this sounds like me just winging but what if his car had started to go side ways in to my car or some one that coo dent see throw the smoke just the green light went straight throw and hit me from behind. well that's about it has anyone else had this happen to them or something along thaws lines.
